4th Annual Kick off Party and Celebrity Golf Classic
On October 6th 2011, The Three Quarters Fast Jazz Band was honored to perform for the 4th Annual Kick Off Party and Celebrity Golf Classic, to raise money for House of Isaiah, a residential drug and alcohol recovery center for men.

Isiah Robertson, former outside linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams, founded House of Isaiah. Through the organizations span, they have helped many men once again live full productive lives, drug and alcohol free. Athletes For A Drug Free America Foundation and the NFLPA Retired Players Foundation hosted the benefit. The event was held at the Addison Texas Convention Center with Cajun food provided by Nate’s Seafood in Addison. There were many items from sports memorabilia such as autographed helmets from The Dallas Cowboys and The Los Angeles Rams. Football Jerseys and Posters signed by Brett Favre, to a guitar signed by such rock legends as Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, B.B. King and the Edge to name a few, all donated to help raise funds for the center. The Three Quarters Fast Jazz Band provided New Orleans Jazz for the dinner hour from Terrell, Texas. Members of the group that evening were Dave Washburn, owner of Award Music in Terrell on Clarinet, Kevin Curtis, owner of Troubador Music in Terrell, TX, on Guitar, Phil Minshew on Bass Guitar, Yancey Arthur on Trombone, and Jon Hock on Drums. The traditional New Orleans Jazz set a fantastic mood with the Cajun atmosphere and much-needed funds were raised that evening.
